Wilbur

Personal Work

By all appearances, Wilbur seems to be a perfectly ordinary postman. But every evening, when the streetlights come on, the city transforms into a grand concert hall. With his violin and an unwavering belief in his audience, Wilbur performs night after night for roaring applause only he seems to hear. But do we really know that no one is listening?

What I like about the story is that it doesn’t really matter. It’s up to the viewer to decide. And what I like even more – it makes no difference to Wilbur. He gives every performance his whole heart – encores included – because for him it’s real.
